IN GOD WE TRUST?

Luke 10:1-3 King James Version (KJV)

After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

Father, I pray this message reaches many of the lost, shining a light to He, who is The Truth, The Way and The Life.  Many of your children are conflicted inside and know there must be a better way. They want to know true joy and peace. They want to have purpose in their lives and in the lives of others.

Father, darkness has hardened hearts and it has become acceptable behavior in our leaders. Use us Lord to touch hearts and awaken the sleeping and lost. Keep us humble, vigilant, focused, loving, giving, faithful, obedient and trusting and abiding in You. We pray, in Jesus name. Amen

My Dearly Beloved, Brothers and Sisters,

God is using us in a mighty way to expose darkness. Every beam of Light will be followed by a wave of darkness. It is imperative that we listen to the voice of our Father, standing still, when commanded and moving forward, when He calls us to act. As darkness is exposed, it is also imperative to wear the full Armour of God and in the face of adversity to bear GOOD FRUIT.

As God has used me, I have found it amazing how many people believe in The Rapture, but, don't understand who Christ's Church is or why Jesus puts so much emphasis on the fate of certain churches mentioned within the Bible, due to their short-comings.

We must stress the importance to others of reading the Word of God for themselves and to be reborn to receive Divine Revelation.

So many are misled by basing their character judgment upon who comes to church regularly, repeats what the pastor says, or who says Amen. People are not focusing on seeing the character of God in others. It is even more amazing how many people, attending institutional churches are led to believe that this qualifies them as Believers, who are most assuredly going to heaven.

Astoundingly, others (who most assuredly would have petitioned to remove John the Baptist, Jesus, His disciples and the coming three witnesses from the streets),  believe that one can only achieve rightful status and permission to address God's people by attending an institutional church and receiving the blessings of the pastor. It is baffling and mind boggling, painting a poignant picture of "Jesus marveled at their unbelief." It is evidence and confirmation of the enemy's presence within places of worship and the stronghold he has over their beliefs through the spirit of control.

We are forced to ask in disbelief, which one is it, who do we believe: the Word of God or the signs on the institutional church doors; the membership rosters; the choir that sings about going to heaven; or the man or woman preaching to all those they presume by their thought word and deed to become Saints? Is it that the institutional churches are more concerned about people  following THEM than TRULY preparing the Saints and believing in TRUE REPENTANCE AND REBIRTH?

My Brothers and Sisters, it is time to stop PLAYING church and look into the hearts of one another. It is time for TRUE LEADERS to stand up and lead with the HEART OF CHRIST! Look at our leaders and ask, do they love CHRIST  more than the world? Do they represent Christ first and foremost, being in Perfect Love to love ALL of God's people unconditionally?

One of the significant characteristics of our new president elect, is his inability to resist being baited, caught and served on a platter by a tweet or comment he feels attacks him in anyway. This leads many people to doubt that he is trustworthy to possess the nuclear codes.

God has told us in His Word, that He shares His wisdom and knowledge with those whom He calls, friend. Those who are trustworthy. He also gives to us according to our FAITH and GROWTH.

Most institutional churches cannot GROW because their leaders are stunting their growth! Their leaders are in bondage, caught up in pride, love of the flesh and the world, trying to reassert a veil between God and His People, so that they can assume uncontested power and absolute authority.

The adversary knows how to fish for men, because he knows their weakness of pride. Time and time again, we see leaders taking the bait, because their heart is not right. But, it doesn't stop there. They are so caught up in the spotlight of leadership, that like, our president elect, they want, need and CRAVE an audience. An audience is necessary to VALIDATE themselves, their every move, their opinions, accomplishments and objectives, but EVEN MORE SO, to DISQUALIFY and attempt to destroy those they deem to be the opposition. They cannot see that this is NOT the Mind of Christ.

Institutional Church-goers are rarely, confronted with the reality of how the Rapture will affect them personally, because these types of leaders and pastors do not hold them accountable and are setting bad examples. They too, may be in for an awakening, because they use this to their advantage to fill the pews and seats.

Within these types of settings, we find political hierarchies and popularity contests are an on-going event, where the loser(s) usually suffer voluntary or involuntary status placement or exile.

Sexism has continued to be an ongoing problem within the institutional church, especially in leadership, presenting the following problems:

A man's message from God, his constructive criticism or opposing views are most often looked upon as a positive, Divine message, good preaching, good leadership skills or delivering a necessary message, whereas, a like performance or behavior from a woman may be misconstrued or attributed to her having a grudge, bad day or attitude and in need of an attitude adjustment, counseling and advisement, or she may be thought to have a physical or female condition, as she could not possibly be a reliable messenger and conduit of Divine inspiration.

Sexist thinking leads some, even some women to believe, God couldn't and wouldn't choose a woman over a man, for any reason, because women don't possess the right temperament and qualities to LEAD and KNOW more than a man, especially a man of 'GOD.' To be more specific, if she is single or married to a man who has had a disreputable reputation, then, her assumed bad attitude or obsession with leadership are delusional and can be attributed to her need of a good man to put her in her place.

A woman's past sins make her a TAINTED women, whereas, a man's sins are sometimes categorized as sowing his oats to become a man. Therefore, a woman carries her sins with her and is looked down upon as unworthy, but a man's sins are overlooked. No matter how bad his flaws are, they do not outweigh those flaws of a woman, who is more appealing when she is docile and subservient to a man.

No matter HOW much more QUALIFIED, knowledgeable and godly the woman is, the MAN is preferred over her by those CLINGING to the standards of the world, believing men are better leaders and preferred by God to lead in EVERY situation.  These standards are so engrained and commonly accepted within institutional churches that, as within the world, they are a silent code of established ethics.

Yes, we see many women who preach within institutional churches. The doors have been opened to allow many women to be voices for God. Still, the silent code stands, let the women preach, but JUDGE THEM by a different standard for they are not EQUAL to men.

Thank you Father, for making me a woman, for I understand now, that only a woman could do what you have created me to do. Your people are truly in bondage and lack knowledge, understanding and TRUTH.

God uses comprehensive strategy to weed out the wheat from the tares, but until Judgment Day arrives, the God of many chances is ALWAYS giving us another chance.

Most of us know that it is easy  to tell a good tomato from a bad tomato, by its color and firmness, but, an apple, sometimes has to be opened up. Sometimes, a worm can penetrate the apple's skin. Age or a bruise may cause rotting inside of the apple.

God exposes darkness, in much the same way. He allows us to be bruised and examined inside to reveal what we think about others and how we treat them. He introduces people, things, situations and circumstances to test our hearts. Will we show that we love God by the way we treat even the least of these?

Prophets are often put in harms way just for the purpose of exposing darkness. It's what we were created to do to draw God's People closer to Him or turn them back to Him. We are not sent to "attack in the flesh" or to "attack" certain individuals, but to bring enlightenment to the people, through the CUTTING and SURGICAL Word of God. God does not send us expecting to find a welcoming audience or healthy patients.

Most say that they will not listen and there is NOTHING wrong with them. They point their fingers at the messenger and cry out, "evil, trouble-maker and false doctrine." And if the messenger be a prophet AND a woman? Hmmpf! There is no doubt at all that she's an evil person, vixen, controlling Jezebel, proud, vindictive, and crazy.

Pastors and leaders try to prevent our messages from reaching their congregation. But, God is comprehensive in His strategy. He can either make us friends, an example to be followed, or a lesson to be learned. People are watching, waiting to see what happens and there will most assuredly be changed hearts and minds as a result of the outcome.

God wonders, how will they treat my prophet who represents me? How will they entertain a stranger or someone I have transformed to send into their midst, be it man or woman? Will they treat them differently? Will they show preference? --Indifference? If they are DIFFERENT from them, what will they do? Are they careful in how they entertain strangers? What choices will they make to include or exclude them and how will they make them? Will they be MORE concerned about their OWN WELL-BEING? How will they DISCERN and DEFINE WELL-BEING? Will it be by THEIR STANDARDS--that which will benefit THEM? Or will they TRUST ME, THEIR GOD and love their neighbor without inserting an additional clause between AS and YOURSELF?

God is comprehensive in His care for us to the point that He cares about WHO we align ourselves with and HOW we align ourselves with others. So we must mirror the behavior and character of our Heavenly Father. Our responses are monitored and noted by God's Holy Spirit; not just the words that we say, but the tone in which they are said. God is concerned with what is in our HEARTS. What is in our HEART gauges our Spiritual Maturity and you cannot fool God's Holy Spirit! Glory to God!

Many who say they put their trust in Jesus and God do so very discriminatingly at opportune times, reacting  depending on how their heart and pride is leading them.

When men become comfortable or successful, they can quickly forget where they came from, what others went through and sacrificed for them, and that it was because of God's Grace and Mercy that they have arrived in favorable circumstances.

Luke 10:29
But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?

When a stranger, perhaps someone who speaks or worships differently, as in the story of the Samaritan who found the beaten man and took him to safety and cared for him; when a stranger comes to your door, saying there are many more like him who need refuge, what do you do? ARE YOU YOUR BROTHER'S KEEPER? DO YOU BELIEVE THE WORD OF GOD?!

If you are your brother's keeper, than what kind of god would not PROVIDE for you to KEEP your brother? The Samaritan who helped the beaten man knew that he wasn't supposed to associate with Jews, due to the laws of men.

Although, Samaritans were also the descendants of Abraham and Jews, they were considered to be undesirable people, because they worshipped differently, in the high places and not in Jerusalem. A priest and a Levite passed by the injured man, on the road, as if it were like passing by roadkill, an injured animal, hit by a car. Although, they were of the same flesh and blood, seeing the man, the victim of thieves, was of unimportance to them. This is our history brethren, for we have been grafted into the inheritance.

Now, HISTORY repeats itself, preachers of the WORD are telling people to leave them there, dying. They aren't WORTH it. They're DANGEROUS people of different faith.
Yet, God chose THIS EXAMPLE, THIS WORD, THIS TRUTH, to teach us about being a GOOD NEIGHBOR to our brother.

Of course, many will say that it was just ONE MAN and we can't help THOUSANDS of foreigners and expect to be safe and sustain our own society and way of life.

THAT'S WHAT THE LAWS AND WAYS OF MAN WANT US TO BELIEVE AND HAVE BEEN CONTINUOUSLY TELLING US...

-- But, NOT the WORD of God! Many of the laws of man written and UNwritten, are discriminatory, designed for the well-being of certain groups and even certain races of people.

We are given the examples of the loaves of bread and fish feeding the multitude of thousands, not just to show us the miracles Jesus performed, but, as a lesson in FAITH and TRUST IN GOD'S BLESSED ASSURANCE to PROVIDE INCREASE for His Kingdom. "Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven." Kingdom words that are often repeated, but usually not believed by most  to be applicable to any and every situation and circumstance, especially when it comes to making sacrifices for one another.

We have missionaries in other countries, which is WONDERFUL! Yet, too often, people remain unchanged because of their environment, or they DO change and are forced to live in a hostile environment or one unfavorable to their faith and lifestyle.

If this sounds familiar, it is because, this was the catalyst that spurred the founders of America to risk their lives to seek refuge and religious freedom on a continent across the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, resist and escape tyranny and proceed in trying to annihilate the land's inhabitants.

Why do we think Africa remains in its present state? Colonization has ended and with it, the allure of investing in a continent full of natural resources, but social and structural problems. There is no great desire to alleviate suffering and civil unrest without attaining autonomous control and governing authority over the people.

The laws and ideology of man would have us believe that most of the African nations are ignorant, backward, divided, unorganized, crooked and corrupt, filled with hostile people who do nothing but fight and kill one another and therefore aren't WORTH lifting up.

However, YEARS of colonization has destroyed the previous cultural, family, social and government structures. Boundaries were removed creating friction between groups. The adopted political practices were those handed down from their corrupt European colonizers.

Now, the color of their skin and religion has excluded them from sufficient financial backing to remake their countries. Many countries need help to become self-sustaining, by helping to build their infrastructure, designing and building systems for potable water and sustainable agriculture, housing, health, educational facilities and supplies and increasing businesses and entrepreneurial opportunities to become competitive in the markets of global trade. There is simply not enough being done structurally, as was done for the people of Japan and other places that have been rebuilt, having suffered from war, colonization and exploitation.

It is convenient for the unconcerned and unaccountable, who have no understanding of what it TRULY means to say, "trust in Jesus," when GOD has made US accountable for one another. When we have made those who CLAIM to trust in Jesus, ACCOUNTABLE for their beliefs, then we will SEE TRUE TRUST IN JESUS THROUGH THEIR ACTIONS!

GOD is a God of INTERACTION, Who manifests His works through those who BELIEVE ! He did not tell us to let JESUS love our neighbor ALONE, by Himself, but for us THROUGH the LOVE OF JESUS to love our neighbor. Jesus COMMANDED us as His Disciples to LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR AS HE HAS LOVED US!

John 15:12,13 King James Version (KJV)

12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

WE CHOOSE who to ALIGN ourselves with and who to call FRIEND. WE, THE PEOPLE, buy into the existing, selective ideology to protect our own interests--our own well-being and our own selfishness, forgetting how Native Americans and African Slaves were labeled as ignorant savages, heathens, and hostiles who had to be tamed, kept down, subservient  and made to be civilized.

There is no difference in circumstances. During the seventeen and eighteen hundreds, the same thing was going on, on ALL continents. The world was as you see it now, infighting among different tribal nations and selling their brothers out. So, God sent a DIFFERENT kind of enemy to conquer them and put them into bondage.

Yes, many people, leaders, churches and nations have MUCH to answer for and reap from what they have sown and are sowing.

IT IS TIME TO STOP PLAYING CHURCH, TRYING TO GAIN THE WORLD, WHILE WE LOSE OUR SOULS!!!

"Bring the children IN from the fields of sin" and tell them the REAL DEAL!

We spend billions of dollars to KEEP people living in POVERTY and HOSTILE environments, for our so-called well-being and call it charity. Yet, place ONE of these xenophobic lawmakers or COMFORTABLE and PROSPEROUS believers of ISOLATIONISM, WALLS and CONTAINMENT, within an unsustainable environment or war-torn situation and see how they feel being the one left on the side of the road.

People have been brainwashed by the ideology and propaganda of racism, globalization and the American Dream infused into society by the ruling elite to pacify the masses and maintain the status quo. They have been fooled into believing they are making the right choices by those who sacrificed the lives of our sons and daughters abroad, while they, themselves, thrived on inequality and widening disparity at home, in America.

Satan has many ways to prevent us from making the right choices in life, because he mimics God and tries to be comprehensive in his strategy.  He produces gridlocks, traffic jams, an overload of information to our brain, which may make us slow to act, feel overwhelmed, decide too quickly or choose the incorrect information he has fed us.

He can affect our lives so that we have tunnel vision--that is, 'focus' on one way of thinking, perhaps, because of our foundation, upbringing or love of the flesh (self) and the world.

He can instill and feed us FEAR and KEEP us in fear, because we have not been made PERFECT in LOVE. Thus, our choices are based on fear.

He can keep us in ignorance, either because of our PRIDE or because our environment does not give us ACCESS to information. This is what he has done in other countries and NOW his present place of disruption is AMERICA.

Having the internet, access to information, education, science and technology means NOTHING, if we do not change our HEARTS!

Satan's other technique is ISOLATION, DIVIDE AND CONQUER! Keep people divided and isolate individuals to influence their decision-making processes, keeping them against those who they are divided from.

Man has ALLOWED himself to be influenced by Satan, compromising for prosperity,  which has resulted in man having  his PRIORITIES mixed up! He has placed himself at the top, God at the bottom and in many instances has chosen to exclude God all together, because He is more concerned with his own well-being.

ALL of these decision-making processes are based upon having a HARDENED HEART. My Brothers and Sisters, do not let the enemy harden your heart and continue to divide us, turning us against one another and our neighbors.

Many continue to put LIMITATIONS on what God CAN and WILL do for us and others because of the darkness within their hearts toward one another. In doing so, we have put limitations on ourselves. How can we worship in SPIRIT and in TRUTH if we do not believe in an ALMIGHTY GOD? It is time to stop PLAYING CHURCH.

FOLLOW THE LEADER

The Pharisees and Sadducees tried to stop the Apostles from preaching about Jesus and told the people not to follow or listen to the disciples of Jesus.

My Brothers and Sisters,

Our Brother, Jesus, set the example by telling the people to listen to the Word, but not to follow the Pharisee's EXAMPLE, doing as they do; for the ways and actions of the Pharisee's, their lives, their walk and talk, did not align with the Word of God. We also, cannot tell others to stop following a leader, who feeds them the WORD of God.

Those who felt threatened by Jesus and hated Him, did so because Jesus made them ACCOUNTABLE for their beliefs and actions.

If you follow a leader, you must know WHO and WHAT they follow. You must know WHO and WHAT you are REALLY following; not just what they tell you in a sermon or speech, but in how they walk and TALK and treat others! Is it the Mind of Christ?

We lack ACCOUNTABLE leaders because we fail to MAKE them accountable!

It is time to stop PLAYING CHURCH, God requires us to be accountable in helping to make DISCIPLES OF JESUS, TRUE AMBASSADORS AND LEADERS, who represent THE KINGDOM OF GOD, and not the will and ways of the world!

Those calling themselves Believers and Christians, who followed Donald Trump, didn't care about who he was following. They said that FEAR,  economics--MONEY--was more important and the RACE of people who HELD that money in their hands certainly played a huge part in their decision-making.

God CARES who we align ourselves with, even when he ALLOWS such a hard-hearted, blinded man to lead during darkened times, it is not over. God wants to see what you will DO!

People don't like to be CHALLENGED, because it makes them ACCOUNTABLE and those who cannot measure up, can be baited and the darkness and pride within them IS EXPOSED.

Do we point fingers, laugh, snicker, say I told you so and turn on them? That too, is DARKNESS, my Brothers and Sisters. It is IGNORANCE that must be overcome by HUMBLING ourselves and seeing beyond one's faults to see their need.

GROWING SEEDS

As God stretches me and grows me, I see that there is so much more I don't know about myself, life, the world, His People and what I can do through HIM. Sometimes, I groan and moan with each new challenge, dreading the uncomfortable feeling of growing. -But, afterwards, I am not only relieved, but truly grateful for having gone through the experience.

God sees our maturity in our WILLINGNESS to SURRENDER and be USED for the glorification of the Kingdom and not our OWN glorification! We are NOTHING and can DO NOTHING without God!

ALWAYS remember, no matter how MATURE we BELIEVE we are, in GOD'S EYES we are nothing but children, in different stages of learning and growth. HOWEVER, this does not HINDER US, IF we abide in His Spirit, with JESUS as the CENTER of our JOY. Our FAITH is increased and we are made PERFECT in LOVE! THEREFORE, our Father has asked us to COME TO HIM WITH THE HEART OF A CHILD! TRUSTING HIM, LIVING IN OBEDIENCE TO SHOW THAT WE LOVE HIM!

AND, if we cannot LOVE our neighbors as ourselves, then the TRUTH, THE TRUTH, JESUS CHRIST, HIS SON AND GOD IS NOT IN US! NEITHER DO WE TRULY LOVE GOD!

MAY THE LORD HAVE MERCY UPON AMERICA AND THE NATIONS AND PEOPLE OF THE WORLD !!!

My Friends who do not know Him, invite God's Holy Spirit to come and dwell within you.

Freedom...Peace...Openness...Growth, it's ALL ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS and it begins with a relationship with a man called JESUS, Yeshuah, the Son of God! OH! There is something about that name that makes me smile and puts JOY in my heart FILLING my soul!

Mind you, Brethren, it is not always that some seeds take longer to grow and show themselves and what they are. Sometimes, it is that the eyes of the beholder are too blinded, poisoned and bias to see rightly what the seed is, or that it is a seed chosen for God's time and season and not the desires of man.

Sometimes God wants to keep the seed HIDDEN! God knows WHEN, HOW and WHO should plant and reap and HOW and WHEN to separate and INCREASE the harvest. This is what the Kingdom teaches us--INCREASE by the hand of GOD. Therefore, ALL of our trust must be in HIM and not the world and our perceived well-being.

MANY will pick and choose what they want to take from this message, how they will interpret it, and how they will USE it. Many will be too focused on the messenger to absorb or even consider the message.

Yes, I am a woman and a black one at that. There will always be those who say that I have a bad attitude, carrying a grudge, moody, need a man and that I'm playing the woman's card for advantage. However, Jesus knows, that like Martha's sister, Mary, I HAVE CHOSEN THE BETTER PART!!! AND HE FIRST CHOSE ME!!!

HALLELUJAH!!!

THE SEED WILL GROW and His Word most assuredly will come to pass in HIS due time, for the enlightenment and well-being of the people.

Father, You know the things you have placed upon my heart are not intended to offend, but to enlighten Your people. Still, the guilt within many will harden their hearts. Help them, Father. Remove the scales from their eyes and help them to see through Your eyes.

My Brothers and Sisters,

PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER! Be HUMBLE. Be ACCOUNTABLE. Be WHO and WHAT GOD has created and chosen you to be! Be STRONG IN THE LORD, my Brothers and Sisters. Our Father, blows the wind in your favor. Set sail and journey on!

MY HEART REJOICES!!!

In Perfect Love, with Hope and Faith in DIVINE FELLOWSHIP through the ONE, BY walking in His Light,

your servant and soldier, by the grace and mercy of Jehovah God

mishael

John 15 King James Version (KJV)

15 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.

23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also.

24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

Luke 10 King James Version (KJV)

10 After these things the Lordappointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.

5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.

6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.

7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.

8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:

9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

10 But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,

11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

12 But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.

13 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

14 But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.

15 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.

16 He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.

17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

23 And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:

24 For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?

30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?

37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

38 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.

39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.

40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
