IT'S IN THE BLOOD

How does the body know how to grow a hand or a foot, when the brain is still developing? How does your skin know how to grow upon your body--to be thick here and thin there--to crease here and unfold there--to be lighter here and darker there? It's all in the blood. The blood comes first and the blood goes last. It's all in the blood, my friends. -And where does the blood come from? What is inside of this blood? How did it get there? The answer is all in the blood, my friends. The answer was there in The Beginning. The Answer that we all search for that regulates the body and the mind has always been there right before our eyes. The Answer to Life and The Answer to Death--The Answer to our Existence is all in The Blood.

God required a blood sacrifice for the atonement of our sins. Why? If blood is such a powerful and precious thing, why would God want to spill it and seemingly waste it? Why does He allow the blood of millions to be spilled upon battlefields or wrongfully poured out in violence and abuse? What does the blood change in our lives and within the atmosphere of human and spiritual existence?

Is there something within the blood that is connected to God, Himself? Does God know when the blood is being sacrificed or spilled? Can He feel the blood because it is connected to Him? Is this where He embedded part of His Life Force--a life force that can bring inanimate objects to life at His bidding?

If our blood is connected to God and within it He can identify us and know everything about us until our time of expiration, if the blood encodes our entire lives within our brain and within our spirit--if through our blood He passes down instructions, missions, skills, and traits vital to our existence and purpose, vital to the growth and functioning of His Kingdom, then, each of us is here for a reason. No one is here by mistake. The way we look and function is for a reason. The way our body grew and developed was for a reason and a purpose important to us and important to God.

Then, should we interfere with the blood? It is a question that the medical and scientific world constantly contemplates. How far should we go? How far is too far? How far will God allow us to go? Can we destroy ourselves by trying to change ourselves? What happens to the spirit when we go against God's plan for our blood? What happens to the mind when we go against God's plan for our blood? If we abruptly decide that we no longer want to be who we are or no longer want to do what we were purposed to do, what happens? Does God have a plan for that? Does God have a punishment or correction for that?

You want answers instead of a lot of questions? Well, so do I. I want to know, like so many people in this world, what is so important about the blood that God decided to place it inside of our bodies to keep us alive? How does it really work and how does it change things? -But, outside of learning about DNA, atoms, protons and neutrons, what can man really know about the blood? Will he ever know the true origin of the blood? Can man trace the start of the blood? If God is a Spirit, who or what was the blood donor? Did He just speak the blood into existence with His Word?

The Answers are in The Blood. Within The Blood, God knew our beginning and God knows our end. The First Man, Adam, as we have come to know Him through The Word of God, passed down the blood to generation to generation. The Second Man, Jesus, as we have come to know Him through The Word of God, not only was The Blood, He was The Word of God. So, does that mean that The Blood and The Word of God are One and one and the same? Hmmm? God intended for The Word to be inside of us, so, He gave us The Blood, The Encoder, which writes our history and His Story for us to live by.

Therefore, we can conclude that, even before the sin of man, the blood that flows through our veins was intended to make us One with God. Through the blood, that gives us life and strength, that feeds us and nourishes us, we have an everlasting connection to God while we live upon this Earth and if we accept The Blood, The Word of God, His Son, then, The Blood will give us Everlasting Life.

It's all in The Blood, my friends. It's all in The Blood. Yes, Jesus is the Answer for the world, today, tomorrow, and forever more. The Sacrifice of The Blood is intended to make us One with God, cleansing us of sin that we may become, like God, Holy and Righteous. Holiness cannot abide with unholiness, therefore, unholiness can only be changed by changing and cleansing the blood which has been corrupted.

Yet, how does the blood become corrupted in the first place? How does uncleanliness get inside of the blood? Is it a virus? Is it bacteria? What can invade the body to make it so unclean that God wants it to be removed because it is life threatening? So life threatening that it is interfering with His Plan? Sin. Sin invades our body. The wages of Sin is Death. Sin can only bring death because holiness cannot abide with unholiness. By keeping us from sin, God is saving us from the finality of an assured outcome of death. God is Holy and it is His Life Force, The Blood, that keeps us alive and gives us Everlasting Life. Sin my friends, is our enemy--an enemy we cannot afford to embrace and welcome into our lives. Sin is incompatible with every blood type. When we sin, we are waging war against the very blood that flows through our veins. This is how we crucify Christ again and again. If we continue to take pleasure in sinning it is as if we were telling God to spare us, but, keep crucifying Jesus over and over again to die for our sins. In other words, sacrifice His only begotten son for our selfishness, greed, hatred, lust, etc., while we keep on sinning.

Through The Blood and the blood that regulates through our veins, God has set a STANDARD. With such a Standard, why even allow sin to exist? Why? God has many tools that are dangerous in the Universe. He needed them to make the Universe. He needed fire to form the stars and the planets and only when man was ready did man receive the gift of fire. Fire can be used for more than warming our body and cooking our food. Fire can be used to sanitize and purify, casting out or killing that which is impure. Sin, like fire is such a tool. How can sin be a tool of God if sin is incompatible with God? God is Powerful and Almighty! God is in control.

When Satan loosed evil within Heaven and Angels followed him to rebel against God, God cast him to Earth to live out his days, but, then, He said to The Word, "Let us make man." God needed something to purify Earth and Heaven. So, is that it? Are we simply another tool? No other tool is made in the image of God. No other tool was made from His Lifegiving Force to commune with Him and receive His unconditional love. What is man that God is mindful of him? We are not a tool, but, an answer. We are an extension of who God is and that is why His Spirit gave us life. There is life within the blood, but, abundant and everlasting life covered under the Blood. Jesus, The Perfect Man, became the ultimate Answer for the sin of man and God's Kingdom.

-But, how does sin get inside of our blood? We must remember that the blood is imprinting everything onto our cells and into our spirit! If sin is imprinted upon the mind and the spirit, then, we become unclean, unholy, and unable to commune with God. We have a sin-sick soul. Why does this matter? -Because, each of us was created for a purpose. Each of us matters to God, not only to be used by Him, but, to love as His children? -But, why would God want so many children? Why create so many children? Any parent knows that the more children you have the more responsibility you have and complications in your life. That is man's thinking and not the mind of God. Unconditional love is not based upon how many or how much. Unconditional love is not limited to selfishness and how much we must bear. Unconditional love is not founded upon shaky and unstable ground that cannot hold it or a heart that cannot contain it. Unconditional love, like God, has no boundaries and no limits. Therefore, it encompasses, surrounds, and includes all. Whereby, even God's enemies can share in His blessings.

Can there be too much kindness or too much love? Can there be too much beauty? Can there be too much friendship or fellowship? Can there be too much giving and sharing? Can there be too much grace and mercy? The Kingdom is about increase. God decides what is enough and what is too much, even how much we can bear.

So, why do we fret over evildoers? Why do we condemn ourselves and those around us? Why, when faced with problems and adversity in life, do we want to create our own ending or transform ourselves to create what we think and want to believe is a new beginning, when only God can change--the blood?  We may think that we have reinvented ourselves because of the way we look, think, or, feel, but, only God can change--the blood. The blood identifies who we are and who God made us to be. We can't change that, my friends. We can't change that. In terms of God's scripture, we are simply kicking against the goad, trying to change something that will not change. God does not change. God had already decided who we were when He embedded the blood and the blood came FIRST and The Blood will be last and have the final word, which is from God.

While she sat holding David, Rachel had been wrapped up in the throngs of new motherhood. Touching his tiny hands and feet, she still couldn't believe that she was a mother and that this beautiful baby in her arms was her son. Yet, holding his small golden body made her think of his father and worry about if he was alright. After the nurse spoke to her, Darla had left in a hurry. It must have been urgent business, Rachel thought, and hoped she would return with news about Hal. Her attention went back to her son, who began moving his mouth, trying to suck, as if he was ready to nurse again. A sudden chill went up her spine. She had married into the Graves Family, but, David was a true Graves and carried their bloodline. Knowing what that had meant for the other members of the Graves Family, she shuddered in horror of what it might mean for her child's future and what he might become.

In the corners of her mind she could hear a song and began to identify it. It was a song that took her back to her childhood church. When the pianist began to play the song, she knew that it was time for everyone to pray. The choir would begin singing Sweet Hour of Prayer, Sweet Hour of Prayer and her mother would take her hand and lead her to the altar to kneel down and pray. Pastor Fitzgerald had told her to always pay attention to the songs that pop inside her head. "They are often messages from God, he said. "Communicating with God this way is often a special gift, Rachel. God has probably given you this gift to connect you to Him and use you in a special way."

Holding David tightly in her arms, Rachel found herself thinking of the words and humming the song softly. She looked at him lovingly, but, with anxiety in her heart because of fear. She couldn't help feeling that Hal was in danger. Moreover, would her child's life continue to be in danger because he had the misfortune of being a Graves? Softly, she kissed David's cheek and whispered.

"It's time to pray."
