SPIRIT AND TRUTH

SPIRIT AND TRUTH

WHY did Jesus conquer the world? Was it so that we would remain in sin and bondage?

This Easter--Resurrection Day--many will go to their places of worship, which are separated by religious beliefs and denominations. Their manner of worship separates them from their brother and they count themselves wise in doing so.

They will consider their divided places of worship as sacred and holy and that in being divided, God is pleased with their worship. They will believe that in being divided, they can still worship in Spirit and in Truth. Yet, they believe a lie of Satan; for they have not conquered the world.

Did God not GRAFT the Gentiles into the vine so there would be no separation? Did He not remove the veil separating us from Him and send His Holy Spirit to dwell in us that there would be no separation from Him? Did He not shed His Light upon us that we, being One with Him would walk in His Light and have fellowship--and not be separated from one another? Jew and Gentile alike are attached to the Vine to worship as One in Spirit and in Truth.

Ephesians 4:4-6King James Version (KJV)

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Yet, we think ourselves wiser than God. We have not listened to and obeyed the Word of God, thinking we can bend the Truth to our liking. Our Father said, "If you love me, you will obey me." Yet, Satan has placed new veils of scales over the eyes of the people; even the priests, ministers, preachers, bishops, cardinals, popes, rabbis, monks, imams, ayatollahs,
apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers, deacons and elders and those who have been blinded have embraced division and have been robbed of the power within them. By embracing division, they have not conquered the world but remain in the world and of the world--a slave to a lie.

Do we not serve a perfect God? Did Jesus not say, "It is finished?" Do we not believe that our Father knows what is best for us?

THE END OF DIVISIVENESS

LIKE the Samaritans and the Jews,  we have come to love  tradition, pride, status, power, authority and the things of this world, more than God and His Word. Each time we enter our divided places of worship, we trust the word of man over the Word of God.  No? Then, what does God think about division amongst His people?

When Jesus sent His disciples to the Lost Sheep of Israel, He did not send them to the Samaritans. The Samaritans were shunned by the Jews who worshipped in Jerusalem. The Samaritans chose to worship in the high places.

Matthew 10:5-7

[5] These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

[6] But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

[7] And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

JESUS chose a road to Galilee by way of Samaria, stopping at Jacob’s well in Sychar.   Later His disciples, who had gone into the city to buy food, joined Him. Meanwhile, He had a life-changing conversation with a Samaritan woman at the well. The woman was surprised that Jesus would even ask her to serve Him water from the well, being that she was a Samaritan.

This meeting was of great importance to God for He had a message to deliver, not only to the woman, but to all Samaritans and all Jews. His words made it very clear that salvation was given to the Samaritan as well as the Jew and the result would end their divisiveness.  God saw need of going to Samaria Himself to deliver His children and many Samaritans believed Jesus as the Messiah.

John 4:20-27

[20] Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
[21] Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
[22] Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
[23] But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
[24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
[25] The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
[26] Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
[27] And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?

GOD gave a place of worship to the Jews, not because He needed a house or place to dwell, but because they did not know what they worshipped.  Men chose to make places of worship more important than God, Himself. Therefore, God made our bodies His Temple to dwell in through His Holy Ghost.

However, still today, in the eyes of men, the building encapsulates their own idea of worship, creating institutions and bear the mark of divisiveness and worldly thinking.

The churches of Corinth, Ephesus, Thessalonia, etc., refer to the Believers who worshipped in these cities. Paul chastised them for bringing in false doctrine that kept them from being united in Christ. Timothy was sent to bring the churches under the Mind of Christ to end their false practices.  In the Book of Revelation, we find that  Jesus warns the churches for going astray.

The people are the church and the power of God is given to them individually and collectively. Yet, the  manner in which each person's heart worships is what God looks upon. God wants to bring all of His children together worshipping in Spirit and Truth.

God chose to deliver this message Himself through Jesus. He wanted everyone to know that the time for division is over. The only way to worship is in Spirit and in Truth.  In other words, God established that there is no longer a place for denominations, religions, veils, rituals and priests to atone for our sins and speak to God for us. Jesus is our High Priest, Who sits on the right hand of God and intercedes for us that we may have access to the Father and the power of His Holy Spirit forever more.

TRUE WORSHIPPERS

ARE YOU READY TO SERVE AND WORSHIP GOD IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH? Are you ready to surrender your heart (spirit) and will to God, putting Him first before earthly pleasures? Will you come to Him abiding in His Holy Spirit and His Son, covered in His Holiness and Righteousness, walking in the Light of Truth?

Many will reject this message and the numbers are staggering. Fear of men and the world will not allow them to be torn from tradition. Their pride will dismiss Truth as nonsense and they will think it does not pertain to them. They are led by their appetite—what they like to see and taste, instead of what is holy and righteousness in the eyes of God.

But, worship and fellowship begin in our heart--our spirit.  God has allowed man many things because of the hardened hearts of men,  but this by no means signifies approval. It is because we are under His Grace and His Mercy. Most will be content to continue living under grace and mercy, seeing no reason to change, because they are not ready to worship in Spirit and in Truth. And, God will continue to allow false worship so that others may come to know Truth.

However, division has weakened us, allowing Satan to expand his territory, because we have given him a foothold. There IS strength in numbers. Who will really STAND UP for Jesus today and make His dying not in vain? Who will AWAKEN to Truth and the WILL of God? Or will you continue to be stiff-necked children--worshipping  divided, contrary to the will of God?

When you have truly been born again, you are no longer of this world. You no longer lean to your own understanding. It is no longer hard to love your brother or to see past his faults and see his needs. Love is long-suffering and we work out our differences.

Jesus’ sacrifice upon the cross fulfilled ALL the law and God’s Word given to the prophets, allowing man to be born again and bear the Fruits of God’s Holy Spirit. Whereas, having a renewed mind—the mind of Christ—we CAN worship together in Spirit and in Truth.

My Brothers and Sisters, it IS finished. God has already provided a way for us to worship in Spirit and in Truth and to worship as One. That way is the only way, which is through The Truth, The Way and The Life—Jesus.  What hypocrites we are to continue this madness of divided worship and say that we are Believers in God and His Word.

This Easter, let us free ourselves from legalism, bondage and the love of the world.  Let us embrace Truth and truly worship in Spirit and in Truth; “for God seeketh such to worship Him,” that we may forsake that which separates us from one another and abide in Perfect Love--the Love of God.

By the Grace and Mercy of Our Father, to Whom we give all Honor, Glory and Praise,

Your servant,

Mishael

DO NOT LIVE IN FEAR! TAKE BACK EVERYTHING THAT SATAN STOLE! HE DIDN'T CREATE IT!

There are those who may wonder why I referred to Easter in my blog Spirit and Truth. Every day belongs to God! It is time for Christians to realize and utilize the power within us. We are aware of the pagan history which is attached to Resurrection Day and that many still call it Easter. We have the power to take back everything that Satan has stolen from us--EVERYTHING! We can bind that which Satan has meant for evil. I refuse to feint every time the word Easter is used and the day is celebrated! We cannot be weak, nor ignorant, nor blind! Those who call themselves Believers cannot continue to bow and surrender to Satan and allow Darkness to have control! Where is your faith? What kind of god do you serve? Nonbelievers like to use this kind of propaganda to discourage Christians, but a believer should never give in to such things.
In the name of Jesus, we bind those unclean spirits who seek to steal our joy! In the name of Jesus we loose the powers of Heaven to reclaim our territory and this day of worship! We bind any unholy connotations and pagan influence upon what God has created to be holy and for the good of His children. Let us not give credence to these unholy idols which have no power over us. We acknowledge that this is Satan’s way of trying to gain attention, power and control. We know who we worship and why we worship and things of this world cannot separate us from the love of Christ. We will NOT live in fear and hypocrisy battling with flesh, ideology and a DEFEATED FOE! AMEN

SELF REFLECTION: A Look in the Mirror
Once again, when we look at Jesus' parables, He is challenging us to examine where our heart lies. Closely examining your heart, answer the questions below.
DISCUSS your answers with a mature Believer who can guide you in your spiritual relationship with Jesus and our Father, and/or have group discussions to learn from those who have different experiences and perspectives.
QUESTIONS: Write down your questions and discuss them with a mature Believer or submit them to this blog.
  1. Do you have a place of worship? Why do you attend there (ie., family tradition, friends, spouse, denomination, Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, because of the pastor, mission, choir, fellowship, Bible teaching and study, employment, etc.)?
  2. Knowing that God has given us only one way to worship, in Spirit and in Truth, as One, does your place of worship comply to His Will and Way?  If no, why not?
  3. Do you want to live and worship within the Will of God?
  4. Do you fear the ridicule and retribution of man more than the judgment and punishment of God?
  5. Is your place of worship willing to come under God's Will and Way to worship in Spirit and Truth?
  6. Are you willing to start your own group of True Worshippers as part of the Body of Christ?
  7. Fellowship within the Body is important. Try to connect with other worship groups via telephone, internet or correspondence to support one another and visit one another, if and when possible. Promote  support, nurturing, study, accountability, growth, True Worship and Perfect Love within the group.

REFERENCED SCRIPTURE

John 4:1-54
[1] When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,
[2] (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)
[3] He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee.
[4] And he must needs go through Samaria.
[5] Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
[6] Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.
[7] There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
[8] (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
[9] Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
[10] Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
[11] The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
[12] Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
[13] Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
[14] But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
[15] The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
[16] Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
[17] The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
[18] For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
[19] The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
[28] The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,
[29] Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
[30] Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.
[31] In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.
[32] But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.
[33] Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?
[34] Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
[35] Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
[36] And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
[37] And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.
[38] I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.
[39] And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.
[40] So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.
[41] And many more believed because of his own word;
[42] And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.
[43] Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee.
[44] For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country.
[45] Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galilaeans received him, having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast.
[46] So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum.
[47] When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death.
[48] Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.
[49] The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die.
[50] Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.
[51] And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth.
[52] Then inquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.
[53] So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.
[54] This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judaea into Galilee.
