DIFFERENT: CHAPTER 1 DISTINGUISHING WORDS

DIFFERENT

CHAPTER 1

DISTINGUISHING WORDS

"When we speak with the love of God, we can be understood in any language, when fear and pride isn't within others blocking the way. Let your words distinguish you as being different from those of the enemy which kill, steal, and destroy."

THE ATTACK ON COMMUNICATION

My Brothers and Sisters,

There is no disputing that in moving from a highly industrialized society to an ever advancing technological society, we have allowed our priorities, values, and morals to become altered and influenced by our lust, greed, and desires. Moral decay in society has escalated and continues to be a major threat to our stability and security. We value manual labor and education less and less, making them less rewarding monetarily. Women and minorities still fall behind their white counterparts in pay, status, and opportunities.  In some areas of our society, we embrace our differences and reward them highly, such as in sports and entertainment. However, when inequality, jobs and economic disparity become the prevailing differences in the lives of the people, we must come to see that they are not the cause, but, the effect of misprioritizing. Projecting the blame onto the effect and ignoring the true cause makes us negligent, irresponsible, and complicit in causing the problems. We will continue to watch people within our communities and nations suffer due to our failure to see, acknowledge and accept Truth.

Inequality and poverty are created from prideful and hardened hearts unwilling to yield to the Will and Way of God; to love Him first; and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Then, led by blind and hardened hearts, one's mind cannot see beyond the differences it cannot understand. We then become surrounded by a dilemma of immense proportion, affecting everyone.

Within this dilemma, the first thing that is effected is communication. Some people have never learned how to extend themselves and their heart to others, so, they search for ways to escape, perhaps by: sinking into depression; becoming exceedingly agitated; resorting to deviant or addictive behaviors; demanding changes to fit their needs; resorting to violence; joining hate groups; or finding an opportunity within the dilemma to exploit it to their advantage. We can describe the condition of these people as one that sets up limitations, boundaries, self-satisfying ideals, and intolerance. Their heart is shut off to that which it doesn't understand or have a taste for, all because they lack a hunger for holiness.

In this densely populated realm of dissatisfied and misled people, the emphasis is entirely upon self-satisfaction and immediate gratification. Thought processes are primitive and temporary. Actions and reactions are equally irrational, erratic and often spontaneous. As Believers, we are all too familiar with these negative effects when trying to live life without God. As Believers, we must ask ourselves, how have we allowed this to happen to so many people?

We have watched and even been willing participants as priorities and values have been misplaced. Is it that we have failed to communicate the consequences of their departure or is God merely allowing the world to experience their absence?

We have become a world of intolerant people, finding fault in everything and everyone, because, as egocentric people, we refuse to communicate and try to understand one another. Yet, we lie to ourselves by putting a name on our condition, calling ourselves: patriots, nationalists, gods, extreme, ambitious, divas, etc. The focus is on creating an image defined by the world. Some people have come to love themselves so much, that they would destroy entire nations of people and allow people suffering on a devastated island to die a slow death because they do not fit the image of what they perceive man should be. Other lives are worthless to them. Living is all about them. They are content to live in ignorance and have little or no tolerance of anything or anyone reminding them of their ignorance, a condition that Satan wants to keep them in.

How is it that many people admire, revere, exalt, and hold in high esteem and status the skills of a professional athlete while questioning the mind, motivations, and integrity of someone who exercises their mind and mental skills to the level of an Olympic athlete? Why do we have less tolerance for an intellectual who exhibits their God given talent for the mastery of language, vocabulary or linguistics? Why are they categorized as being high-minded, too intellectual, showoffs, geeks, nerds, not down to earth, and stereotyped as to having no common sense? Being down to earth is determined by what planet you believe you are on; what kind of heart you have to love your brother, and what God you serve. It has nothing to do with your intellectual capacity and ability to comprehend and solve complex equations and issues.

What people really are trying to say when they criticize the knowledge, gifts, and God given talents of others is not that they want them to be down to earth, instead, they are looking for fault within the other person so that they can accuse them in the manner of the Adversary. The devil is in the mix. When all the while, he has blinded them to be led by their pride. He has darkened their heart so that they cannot seek good in others, but, only the reflection of the pride that has become their image.  They cannot claim victory over those they accuse, because, Satan has won the battle. They have rejected the image of God and accepted the ways, traditions, images, and mind of the world.

God has given us the ability to EXPRESS ourselves in MANY ways for many reasons. Big words aren't scary or intimidating when one develops a relationship with them and the one behind their creation. God allowed Adam to name the animals and things upon earth in order for Adam to be able to express himself freely to God and his fellow man. There is a reason behind even this.

THE EVOLUTION OF LANGUAGE

God knew that one group of words and one language were not enough to accomplish HIS goal, for there was a BIGGER picture that required interpretation and could not be expressed in simple terminology. God was seeking to make it plain to ALL men by a deeper message of UNITY.  One group of words and one language was not enough for the DIVERSITY of people He had created to bring them together in love and harmony and to keep them from idolizing themselves and the things of the world.

God knew that language would EVOLVE and there would be people who would abuse it, exploit it, and try to claim it as their own, just as prideful people abused and committed offenses against His other gifts, criticizing them and misusing them. He knew that people would criticize why He gave certain people the gift of vocabulary and linguistics, because, people even found fault in Him. People would say these gifts were only for those who were arrogant and vain. They would say that they should be suppressed and unspoken, because, THEIR WAY, was more important and better. They couldn't understand why someone would want to bring something FOREIGN into their midst which was hard or impossible for them to understand.  But, to God, it was like Jesus speaking to the multitude. Those who have ears to hear will hear. These same people believe in speaking in tongues and the interpretation of tongues, but, big words? There is nothing too hard for God, when it comes to touching the hearts of His creations, which is why music is the universal language.

Yes, language has evolved and most of the words we speak today were not commonly used long ago. We could not go back in time and speak as we do now and expect everyone to understand what we are saying. Words have changed to meet the SEASONS of TIME and God has allowed it. There are those who would shut up the mouth of change, but, God...but, God always has something else in mind. Yes, He knew that books on countless subjects needed to be written by scribes and creative writers carrying these gifts and the majority of these writers would not be appreciated as they should be for contributing to education, science, mathematics, mechanics, sports, theology, philosophy, music, etc. But, to God, words, vocabulary and languages aren't just utterances from our mouths. He formed them into specific sounds for a reason.  Think about it. We were created in the image of God. Our ability to  think, create, and speak, is because of the way He created us. Each sound, like the sounds in music has a purpose and way of connecting to the other to form something new, unique, and expressive. These sounds each have a purpose and meaning not only for audible and vocal communication, but, for spiritual communication and  action.

God knows that EMOTIONS change the sounds of our words, thus, changing their meaning, so a new word is needed to express those emotions. You see, God specializes. He wants to really understand what is in His children's hearts. You may not have access to the same words that I do because you don't live where I do. You weren't introduced to my same group of words and sounds. So, God let you make up your own words to express your feelings, whereby, we come by a different vocabulary. As we were scattered and separated throughout the world, your pattern of words to express your feelings and knowledge formed an entirely different dialect, which overtime developed into a completely different language.

To some, unfamiliar words may be like a different language until they learn the meanings of the words, but, there must be a desire to learn them in order to understand one another. Where there is no desire, there is no communication. Where there is no communication within the Body of Christ, there is no working fellowship. Hence, the devil is in the mix and people are wrapped up in themselves, idolizing self and selfishness. Need we to look at the present state of our country and the world to understand this concept and how it came to grow to a grand scale? It starts within the heart of one person and spreads to many. People of all colors must understand this to understand one another. We, ourselves cannot point a finger at others, when we don't understand the basic concepts and fundamental building blocks of racism and discrimination. It comes in many forms and creeps into the cores of societies to turn people against one another. It is preached from pulpits in many forms due to the ignorance and blindness of one's heart and lack of love for all men.

Meanwhile, as generations pass, we develop new words and languages to express how we feel. It's just one of those things that happens when no two people are created the same because God makes everybody special and unique. However, He wants us all to come together to love one another and understand one another. So, in order to do that, we're going to have to spend some time together to interpret our words and the feelings and knowledge behind them. I can't criticize your words and you can't criticize mine. They each had their own beginning and evolved over time. None of us is using the original form of the word. Over time, we have recreated our own vocabulary. To put each word on a rating scale; to judge which is simplistic, common, down-to-earth, and suitable for common and standard usage makes one hypocritical and ignorant of the evolution of language. The English language was not created by English people. The words are comprised of many languages with the roots and connotations of words having evolved and having been transformed.

By criticizing those gifted by God to expound upon the spoken vernacular of the people one overlooks the understanding and purpose of music in it's varying forms and genres and why each artist paints the same landscape with different strokes and hues of color. Like Jesus, who spoke and confounded the minds of many people, words, music, and pictures aren't simply seeking to reach the mind, but, the heart where it matters and becomes transformed and integrated into one's being.

So, why do some people believe they can attack the minds and gifts of others in such ways to believe they can limit God and know better than He how, when, where, and why they must be used, by whom and to whom? It is a conundrum of vain effort.

The ego of man is like a writhing snake, or a dog begging to be petted. It can be filled with such pride which desires to steal God's glory when one feels their way is best and most effective; when they can point at someone else and say, "NO! That's not the way to reach the masses! That's not the way it should be done! Here is the right way to do it. Watch me!" Their very words prove that their idea of right is wrong for they themselves are prideful for speaking them.

People attack DIFFERENT as being WRONG because they don't understand and their own prideful darkened heart is filled with fear, insecurity, jealousy, hatred, and intimidation while they label the motives and actions of others as prideful and unwarranted.

What have we done to ourselves and what are we still doing?! We allow words and music to separate us in the church, as a people, and as a nation, choosing to hold up a song as an idol and god. Yes, putting an anthem above God Almighty. An anthem, a song of patriotism to a country which only exists as a country because of its people...all of its people which are its responsibility to treat equally. The self-righteous criticize those who don't stand up and worship the idol, like Haman setting a trap for Mordecai and the Jews.

Esther 3 : 5-11 King James Version (KJV)

And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence, then was Haman full of wrath.
And he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had shewed him the people of Mordecai: wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai.
In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar.
And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from all people; neither keep they the king's laws: therefore it is not for the king's profit to suffer them.
If it please the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed: and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands of those that have the charge of the business, to bring it into the king's treasuries.
10 And the king took his ring from his hand, and gave it unto Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the Jews' enemy.
11 And the king said unto Haman, The silver is given to thee, the people also, to do with them as it seemeth good to thee.

Haman's purpose in running to tell King Ahasuerus about the Jews was not because he was so worried about rules and protocol. He had hardened his heart against one man and sought to destroy all of his people. History repeats itself. A greedy and power hungry man steals the office of the presidency, seeking to destroy one man, his predecessor, a black man. Yet, he is not satisfied with trying to destroy just him and everything he accomplished as president. No, his blackened heart is consumed with hatred for all of the black man's people and people of color so much that he is willing to destroy nations and islands of people to soothe the burning pride within him.

The self-righteous never STAND for God. They are too busy creating confusion and trying to condemn their neighbor with a satisfying smile hidden upon their face like Haman, hoping Mordecai and the Jews will soon be persecuted, driven out, or soon dead.

Words can be stinging with Truth, but, not venomous; unlike the words used by charlatans trying to play the role of leadership. We are burdened with a leader who brags and claims to have a high I.Q. (intelligence quotient), vulgarly denigrates the mothers of his people, and cannot get beyond needing praise and glory, and thinking of himself. Even more, he is incapable of learning from his mistakes and the mistakes of others. History speaks for the Jews! They have prevailed!

How can any man claim to have a high I.Q. when he doesn't recognize the power, knowledge, and wisdom of Jehovah God; when he thinks his wisdom is greater than other men and even greater than his Creator?

Ignorance is the mind killer and ignorance is borne of pride. It thrives and flourishes within the hearts of proud men. An intelligent man knows that ignorance has nothing to do with one's ability to learn. Acting and speaking as if it does proves one's ignorance of intelligence. An intelligent man knows that wisdom comes from God and having a relationship with God. Intelligence is BLIND without the sight of God!

Today, we are led by wealthy, powerful, and ignorant men and women in the world who cannot see or understand their own failures and demise. Those that follow them, follow them into iniquity and death, for surely as we now live and breathe, they are dead.

God shall hold up the righteous who have learned to see beyond themselves. The righteous see the true flag of freedom and liberty and He alone who provides it. The righteous hold up the lives of the oppressed, abused, and down trodden, knowing human life is above man's traditions and idolized symbols.

The righteous have no need to create diversions and distractions as the followers of Satan do to coverup their lies and misdeeds. How can the lives of those who fought and died for freedom be honored when those creating lies and coverups, acting with false patriotism, honor and righteousness dishonor them by closing their ears and turning their back to the needs and suffering of any countryman, regardless of their race, creed, ethnicity, religion, or belief?

Albeit that we live in a  world where technology has connected us, we continue to be disconnected because we have stopped listening to one another. Instead, we criticize each others  words because they are DIFFERENT from ours. But, becoming different was God's whole point when He divided language into many languages at the Tower of Babel. When you read Genesis 11, it sounds as if God doesn't want people to come together and understand one another, but, you must consider what the people were trying to do. It is the same thing we believe we can do today without God. We think we can do anything we set our minds to because we don't need God to accomplish anything.

When they built the Tower of Babel they were going against God's plan and purpose for them. Their commonality and mutual language had become a liability instead of an asset. They had become proud and vain people believing they knew better than God. They weren't interested in a relationship with God. They weren't interested in holiness and righteousness. They saw self-knowledge and self-righteousness as being their God, which would lead them to Heaven to be on equal footage with God.

God didn't separate them as punishment. He didn't scatter them and create various languages because he wanted to keep people from communicating and loving one another. It's not that He wanted to stop us from building and creating things. He wanted us to learn how to do it the right way, through Him. Three-way communication, abiding in God to speak to the hearts of people and love them as we should. God used confusion to create the necessity of humility,  cooperation, understanding, and unity in our communion with Him and with one another. God made sure that if  they wanted to live in harmony and have a relationship with Him, they would have to become DIFFERENT.

Genesis 11: 1-9 King James Version (KJV)

11 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.

2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.

4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

5 And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.

6 And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

 THE ONGOING WAR

MANY people are overrun with fear with no escape because they have turned their world into Babylon. The common reactions to fear are alive and present. Maniacal leaders are driven by fear, pretending to be brave, bold, and fearless. They are unaware that their biggest fear does not lie outside of them, but instead it lies within them. Fear is the mind killer. They are spiritually dead and cannot rest in peace. Putin, Trump, Kim Jong Un and others like them have no true peace within. They live in a constant mode of survival. It is as if they were born without the ability to see and trust beyond what they themselves know. Thus, they do not know God and thereby live in ignorance and darkness, leading others to follow them.

This is no new thing for them. They all suffer from the same illness brought on by the same spirit. Since childhood, they have developed or been taught never to tolerate those who are different in any way, shape, or form. Opposing views are a threat to who they are or to who they want to be. Diversity challenges their superiority. They don't know how to change because true change comes by transformation through God's Holy Spirit. They have rejected God and through them, God reminds us that darkness has no place with Light.

We can look at these men and shake our heads, rebuke the devil, and pray for our enemies. We can find some peace in knowing that one day, they will be dead and gone, unable to cause further harm to the people, and will be held accountable before God for all of their wrong thoughts, words, and deeds. However, behind them waiting in a line of many others, stands their successors waiting to continue in their twisted and rigid way of thinking, hoping to make an even greater impact upon the world because of their intolerance to differences and lack of unconditional love. They will have no desire to understand the languages, cultures, and beliefs of others, because, they have never learned how to connect to people and to God.

There you have it--an ongoing war against CHANGE and those who are DIFFERENT. One war, not two, or many different wars led by politics and religion. It is the same war being waged everywhere spearheaded by politics and religion, money and power.

It is the same war that was brought down from Heaven, which is being fought around the globe physically, mentally, financially, and spiritually, under the auspice of an undivine manifest destiny and the guise of land, religious, cultural, financial and racial disputes. The cause of war and forced migration cannot be blamed on basic needs and scarcity of resources, or a lack of humanity, but, rather to a lack of godliness . Godliness compels us to look beyond the faults of others to see their needs. That is the difference between criticism and Truth.

As I look beyond the faults of my fellow man and see Truth, I understand war and that there is no escape from it. When one war stops, there will always be rumor of another, because, their will always be differences and disagreements among those OF the world. So, is it a hopeless situation? Is there nothing we can do?

We have already begun. Having been chosen to be on the right side and the winning team. Because of our faith, as Believers, we have been chosen to be DIFFERENT. Those in and of the world like to pretend and show us that they have the upper-hand. They act as if we are the problem and because of us, problems arise. They may categorize us as Liberals. They pat themselves on the back and convince themselves that they are good people because they tolerate us somewhat, although, that seems to be changing in America as it has in other parts of the world.

They believe they possess the superior ability to handle us and put us in our place. They are filled with delusions of who and what we are. Remember, they don't think they need to change. We've been there and at times revisit there when God is ready to take us to another level that requires us to humble ourselves and look to His understanding. Being different in the world requires the same sacrifice of dying to our flesh daily and abiding in God. It sounds simple, but is it? Have we really been living it or do we practice it periodically? How do you react under pressure?

PRESSURE

Assess your choices over the next few days. We know that Darkness has filled the world with hatred and a rejection of God's Will and Way. As a result, people are in anguish, which is manifested in any number of ways. Anger comes from fear of losing something (i.e. respect, power, authority, love, etc.,). Communication is key to problem solving and healthy relationships, which is why Satan tries to confuse, suppress, poison, and destroy anything having to do with communication (i.e. internet, cellphones, television, movies, books, vocabulary, sermons, lectures, relationships, music, etc.) As you evaluate your choices, along with how you choose your words, listen to others, and communicate in response to any given situation, how did you arrive at your decisions?

  • Were your choices based upon God's Will and Way for you?
  • Did you think about the needs of others first?
  • As you were confronted by someone who could not accept your difference or an adverse situation, could you still love your brother?
  • As you communicated with them, was there love in your heart?
  • Did you have to surrender to God, choosing to die to your flesh and self-desires?
  • Did you struggle with being Different and having to choose the right thing to do?
  • Were you ashamed of being Different?
  • Did you give in to outside pressures (friends, peers, boss, co-workers, president, family, spouse, significant other, activist, lobbyists, terrorists and/or supremacist groups, anger and hatred) and put being Different aside?
  • Did you think about pleasing God?

In my last book, "I Have An Eternity Ahead of Me," we talked about getting to know yourself and how you think. Knowing how you respond to pressure and change is important in being Different. Often, our responses and behaviors can be traced back to learned behavior from childhood. To continue on the road to endurance, we must examine ourselves and cross the road of acceptance.

Men like Putin and Trump have not crossed that road to honestly examine their hearts. They detoured around it and never faced the flaws in their past which have had an effect on their present and will continue to affect their future. I will continue to use them and Kim Jong Un as an example in comparison to following Jesus and being Different. In looking at their lives, perhaps, you can see the comfort, stability, reality, and blessing in being Different. However, let us not forget that God never gives up on anyone. Perhaps, they will come to see the benefits of being Different, also.

As I look at the lives of these two men, I wonder:

  • What were their parents really like? How did they teach their children to communicate and respond to communication? Did they fail to communicate its importance?
  • Did their parents have a close relationship with them and God?
  • Did they try to teach their children to have a relationship with God?

Everything and everyone has a beginning. It is just as important for us to understand the opposition to difference as it is for us to understand why we are Different. We too had a beginning that had not God interrupted our journey at some point in time, we too might not have been changed.  Looking at a disease under a microscope may help us to identify the disease, explain why it exists, and allow us to observe its behavior, but it can't always tell us how to cure it. For that, we must look to God for answers and ask for His Grace and Mercy. Still, just as some branches are too dead  to revive, some people choose to remain spiritually dead and an enemy of God.

In continuing our quandary dissecting the lives of these three high profile men who have made a disturbingly negative impact upon the world, I wonder:

  • Did their parents understand true love? Without the ability to understand and experience the true love of God, we have no reference to be a proper example to our children.
  • Did their parents love them and how did they express their love?
  • Did their parents encourage their son to love all people equally?
  • Would both parents be proud of their son or ashamed or disappointed?
  • What drove them to their present reality and state of mind, being intolerant to those who are different from them?

Perhaps, they will one day see and understand that a good leader always follows the Will and Way of God, then, they are not blind to Truth,  holiness, and righteousness. Like God, they see no need to force laws and exert their power over the people to instill fear and infringe upon their freewill.

In becoming Different, God has offered us something better, taking outside pressure off of us by filling us with His Holy Spirit and Jesus to guide us.

your servant and soldier, united with the One,

mishael

SELF REFLECTION: A Look in the Mirror

Once again, when we look at Jesus' parables, He is challenging us to examine where our heart lies. Closely examining your heart, answer the questions below.

DISCUSS your answers with a mature Believer who can guide you in your spiritual relationship with Jesus and our Father, and/or have group discussions to learn from those who have different experiences and perspectives.

QUESTIONS: Write down your questions and discuss them with a mature Believer or submit them to this blog.

  1. Being DIFFERENT from those OF the world, how can we be different in the way that we speak and listen to others?
  2. Can the Body of Christ function if we do not accept the culture and language of other's within the Body?
  3. Stripping people of their language and culture robs them of part of their identity. Even God's chosen people, the Jews had to cling to their culture and identity when they were made slaves of the Egyptians. We recognize the damage done to African slaves who were bought, sold, and forcibly stripped of their culture and language  to become controllable and subservient in order to build the infrastructure and economies of other countries. Today, many United States citizens expect immigrants to be completely assimilated into Western and American culture. Have we learned from our mistakes? How can we better educate people about other cultures and languages without stripping them of their identity?
  4. What happens when we injure any member of the Body of Christ?
  5. Can different cultures and languages live side by side as they do within one person?
  6. Many Christians claim to believe the Bible and that Christ fed the thousands from a small portion of fish and bread, yet, when it come to accepting immigrants, they are filled with fear; fear for their jobs, way of life, and livelihood; filling them with no compassion for others who are different from them. Christ's example was to show the nature and power of God's Kingdom ON EARTH to increase and provide for all. We find today's churches lacking in accountability to inform and hold one another accountable. There is an overwhelming lack of faith and trust in God, as well as unconditional (agape) love for God and one another. The church has taken on a new meaning, becoming "institutionalized." If Christ be within us, all things are possible. Are we really communicating the Will and Power of God within places of worship?
  7. Are places of worship helping others to grow their faith through Christ?
  8. Are people learning to walk by faith and not by sight?
  9. Are you willing to be BOLD and speak up to hold others accountable to the Will and Way of God and His Kingdom?

Philippians 4:13 King James Version (KJV)

13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Matthew 19:26 King James Version (KJV)

26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
  10. How can you convince others who claim to be Believers that they lack true belief, faith, and trust in God if they cannot accept others who are different from them and trust God to make a way?
  11. Within the world, we cannot force others to believe and have faith. Today, there are not enough people setting the example of Christ and money has become the faith of most Believers. Therefore, the grounds of communication have shifted to the needs and desires of the people instead of God. However, when we are communicating with others, it should be a three-way conversation, since God lives within us. When we speak with the love of God, we can be understood in any language, when fear and  pride isn't within others blocking the way. When we resort to arguing, making threats, criticizing, and violence, we are no longer interested in communication, but, concerned with our own well-being. This is evident when diplomacy ends and war begins, even in our domestic relationships. Today, we seem to be at the mercy of people without faith in God, who think only of themselves, who are willing to risk our lives and our children's lives to stroke their pride.. Is there anything we can do as Believers to sound the alarm for the attack of the true enemy and help give people a true desire to understand and help those who are different from them?
