When a law allows an individual or a group of people, who do not represent all of the people, to become the accuser, the judge, the prosecutor, the jury, and the executioner, is it a law? This is what God is speaking over the Taliban.
Is it a law or an excuse to hate, discriminate, persecute, oppress, murder, dominate, control, and eliminate people by means of ethnic cleansing and genocide? This is what God is speaking over Afghanistan, Africa , America, countries turning away refugees, and tribal countries killing its own people.
Is it a law when it was created to silence others in order to strip them of their rights, votes, and voice within a democracy? This is what God is speaking over the United States and other Democratic nations.
Is it a law or is it a knife disguised with intent to slit the throats of the poor, minorities, refugees, immigrants, and those unwanted by White Supremacists, Elitists, and the self-righteous (all who can be counted among the lost)? This is what God is speaking over mankind.
The self-righteous lawmaker cannot see that he, himself, is a sinner and that laws borne out of fear and self-righteousness are sin. The self-righteous lawmaker cannot see the pride that blinds them and hardens their heart, separating them from God. Still, they think themselves better than others and more qualified to judge the hearts and minds of others. The self-righteous lawmaker connives and conspires to have their way for lack of justifiable reasons for the claims that they make. For lack of Truth, they connive and conspire to enforce their unjust laws with fear and violence.
Should laws be enforced through fear and violence? Will people then be afraid of what men in authority can and will do to them? Will it stop people from breaking the law? Whom should people fear, God or man?
Does God want us to obey His laws out of fear, or, does He want us to obey because of our love for Him, holiness and righteousness?
If we obey laws because of fear, can we come to know holiness and righteousness? Is fear of God? No. So, can we come to know God and love God because of fear? We must understand what the Word means when it says to fear God, which is to have reverence, respect, and the understanding that God has all power and will have the final word when the Day of Judgment comes. We must understand that the consequences of disobeying His Laws and Commandments is to be outside of His Light and Favor. By disobeying God, we choose not to be under His protection and love. The fear which comes from being separated from God is due to one's thirst for holiness and righteousness and the loss thereof. This fear is different from the fear of the world and man, for it is fruitful and keeps us seeking the face of God. Whereas, fear of the world and man, not only separates us from God, as well as abundant and eternal life, it is unfruitful and cannot lead us into holiness and righteousness.
Perfect, unconditional love, which is God's agape love, casts out fear. So, how can fear of the law make us holy or righteous? How can fear of violence make us holy or righteous? How can threatening people through violence and laws make the law enforcer holy or righteous? How can the unholy and unrighteous wield the sword of justice, let alone wield it equally to all, especially if they cannot love all? They defeat their cause for their behavior is contrary to God's Commandments, Wisdom, and Word that we love our brother as we love ourselves and if we cannot love our brother, then, we cannot love and obey God.
Any punishment that God allows us to experience and endure is done out of love for us. Can the lawmaker and the law enforcer say the same thing about their actions and intentions toward everyone? Is there unconditional love within their heart? Do they act out of love for all? Are they concerned for the well-being and prosperity of everyone? If not, where is their Grace and Mercy? Where is their unconditional love?
As our loving Father, God, allows us to endure punishment and pain, so that He can enlighten us through His Hand of Grace and Mercy. It is not by man's hands that we come to the Throne of Grace and Mercy to learn how to live a just and fruitful life. It is not by man's hands that we are justified to be worthy of God's presence and blessings. It is not by man's hands, but, by the sacrifice and shedding of the blood of Christ Jesus, that we come to know The Truth, The Way and The Life. Therefore, no one man or group of people can be accuser, judge, prosecutor, jury, and executioner. We cannot have love for God, if we plot and scheme to deny our brother of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Regardless of our self-righteous thinking, we cannot make laws that unjustly govern over people. Neither can we allow the self-righteous to be a cancer and a disease to bring harm to others.
What can we do to persuade people not to follow the influence of the unholy and unrighteous? Sometimes, a different color can be used to steer the herd in a different direction towards a new trend to engage their attention. A commanding voice is needed to show them the way into the future and new pastures outside and away from the fear they have embraced and embedded themselves in.
The fashion world turns the heads of people with new colors and cuts of cloth, sweeping crowds of people and new followers into the year's new trends. Politics can take a lesson from such strategy, when people tire of the same politicians dressed in the same old policies that have not produced any change of value to the poor and working class. Republicans took advantage of this strategy in the 2016 United States Presidential Election, when they presented a bazaar and unqualified candidate, whose basic skill was in deceiving and conning people.
We must follow the flow of traffic towards progress and positive change to keep it from being disrupted in order to keep the nation moving in the right direction. Traffic lights change colors to keep people moving in the right direction and in order to stop traffic, avoid chaos, collisions, and to keep people safe. It is time for the light to change and drive out the darkness that is impeding progress and fruitfulness. Main street and the mainstream of society has omitted and excluded the primary members that have built the nation up and are vital to the future health and stability of not only the nation, but, the institution of Democracy. Without them, the nation will be ruled by fascists and open to the oppression and exploitation of dictators. America and its democratic institutions will not only lose their identity, they will cease to exist.
How do you maintain your identity but become more inclusive? By incorporating a wide spectrum of color people can identify with. Do I literally mean color or color as in race? At times, when needed, yes. At other times it could be taste, resources, people, etc.
The winning party of 2022 - 2024 needs to be inclusive, representing their inclusiveness through symbolism and rhetoric that can be visually apparent and successfully followed through. The winning party must learn to be accessible not only to its members, but, to all whom it represents and is accountable. It must be red, blue, and green, with outlying colors to enhance and endow it with the necessary elements to attract and engage the people. It must be the people's party that is willing to change to preserve democracy and the 🌎 Earth. The Earth should be included as a symbol and sign of the need for us to work together as communities, cities, states, and nation states. Young people must be at the forefront of the battleground to represent the future, as the older party members take up the banners of change, productivity, and working together for a better future for everyone. Billboards, news media, and social media must be inundated with the new face of the party and pictures of new infrastructure projects taking place changing the lives of people from all walks of life. Those who are seen as outside the boundaries (the deemed as lost) must be recruited at every opportunity to be seen as part of the changing times. This is the unconditional love that chases away the uncertainty and the fear. This is the wisdom of God's agape love that goes beyond brotherly love that can lead us to a true Democracy, a government for the people and by the people.
Yet, we witness the overthrow of countries, such as Afghanistan, where so-called holy men believe they can rule by fear and violence. They believe they can spew hatred and vitriol, exclude and hide women from society, intentionally causing ignorance and illiteracy, to control and brainwash the minds of people they pretend to care about, depriving them of God's gift of freewill and freedom. Their actions prove they care only about themselves and controlling others who are not like them.
Where is the wisdom of these so-called Holy Men, who claim to know God? What are their hearts really rooted in? Who do they really follow if they are leading people into fear and using fear as a scepter to rule over others? These are tools of Satan. To keep people in ignorance is to deceive and hate, which is a tool of Satan, the Prince of Lies. Why do these Holy Men lack the wisdom to see and understand this? Why can't Trump Supporters see and understand this? Why hasn't God revealed this to them? God rebukes the proud and puffed up. If hatred is in your heart, holiness and righteousness has no place amongst it, for holiness cannot abide with unholiness.
What kind of leader or president leads their supporters and people by fear, feeding into their insecurities, unmet needs, and desperation? Yet, the Republicans are unable to separate themselves from Donald Trump, who has proven himself to be such a leader, for they find comfort and solace within his atmosphere of darkness and evil.
What is the mental and spiritual state of people who buy into a cult of fear-mongering and fear-worshipping to make themselves feel better about themselves? What is the breaking point for someone to come to believe the lies of the evil one? Must one feel that there no hope? Do they feel that they have been unjustly treated or abused? The obstinance of Republican leaders prove that this is really not the case and it doesn't matter. It's not that they are fighting for the rights of the people or for improving their lives. They simply want to impede the progress of the opposing party, not caring if it causes their own constituents to suffer needlessly. Such is the nature of evil.
So, is there a breaking point, that drives people to the brink of hopelessness and despair, where they will believe anything? -Or, must there be a breaking point? Has the atmosphere and the incentive already been laid and planted within a person, by means of pride? Many will claim to be disgruntled and dissatisfied with the current state of affairs or uncontrollable circumstances within their lives. However, is this a reason to succumb to the lies of the enemy? Many people have similar or even worse circumstances, yet, they don't give in to negativity and the influence of dark and sinister character. Therefore, we must come to realize the real problem that is at hand.
The enemy wants us to believe that we are experiencing a political upheaval or relationship demise, caused by outside forces. However, the battle began within each and every person who fell under the spell of darkness and evil. For lack of power and authority to do anything else, the enemy tries to convince us that we are irreconcilably divided by ideology, socioeconomic conditions, status, race, gender, nationalism, globalism, and every other ism that man has created. It is sometimes baffling and one could even imagine how Jesus marveled at man's lack of understanding the power of God and His Word.
You see, we are duped into watching the distractions that the enemy so menacingly brings together by using people. This is the only power that he has, that is, his power to distract and control our minds. However, God has all power and told us that He can give us a new mind that not only gives us more power and wisdom, but, conquers evil, the devil, and the world.
So, we can use this knowledge to our advantage. We see how different trends come and go in the world and society. People latch on to trends. History is able to repeat itself through the trends that are embraced. Satan knows this very well and doesn't mind repeating himself over and over again, knowing that he can find those who are attracted to a particular trend. If we want to phase out a certain trend, we introduce another trend that people often embrace, and enhance it by putting a positive spin on it, which can only be interpreted as unconditional, unbiased love.
Again, God has all power in HIS hands. If we look past the distractions we are able to see that God can do a new thing, whereas, Satan cannot. He will stick to his same old same old tricks. Even when he tries to mimic God, it is a poor imitation that can be seen through by discerning eyes.
The fear that is riding across the land and spreading lies to separate the people, while it steals, kills, and destroys, must continue to look the same in order for people to recognize it and continue to follow it. This is why a conman will stick to the same con in order to gain the confidence of his victims. Donald Trump's greatest achievement has been in mastering this concept.
Instead of treating the symptoms of the fear, we must get to the root of the problem and treat the fear. We must look at where the fear originates and know the cure. Instead of treating it with loathing and hatred, we must give it the attention it needs and the only medicine that can drive it out...which is, perfect love.
Then, the question arises, when considering the state of Afghanistan, how do you love a nation state built upon misogyny, hatred, terror, violence, and murder? We must move beyond nationalism and love the people. How do you love conspiracy theorists, White Supremacists, insurrectionists, traitors, fascists, and back stabbers? If it had not been for the Lord, even I would believe that it sounds a little crazy to think that one can love such people, but, sometimes crazy can make a lot of sense. Sometimes there is wisdom within insanity that can only be understood by those who are willing to be unconventional and take risks to walk by faith and not by sight. Sometimes crazy is relative to one's situation or simply in the eyes of the beholder. When we come to change our view and perspective, seeing through the eyes of God, we are able to dissect and separate the adverse behavior from the person. We must see the person inside of the flesh that is attached to the sin and the world, because, we are Spiritual Beings.
When I think of how God continues to love all of mankind, despite our faults and insidious nature to want to destroy ourselves, despite our unwillingness to love each other, despite our unbelief, I think that the world is upside down and inside out, especially when it comes to describing and defining craziness and insanity. We have accepted, condoned, and allowed bazaar and insane behavior from leaders to continue to harm and disrupt our governments. We have allowed insurrectionists to defame, vandalize our nation's capitol and disrupt the process of elections, all because of kowtowing to entitlement, White Supremacy, and the blinded eyes of beholders. Who can define insanity when looking at this process taking place within our government during this time?
EYES UPON THE FUTURE
God loves unconditionally and He told us to do the same. He told us to even love our enemies and those who spitefully misuse us. This holy and righteous condition that the world doesn't understand and would instead have us to be at one another's throats, cutting each other down, criticizing, complaining, and condemning one another, this condition which mirrors the image of God, proves that man's insanity inflicted upon him by the darkness in the world, can be overcome. Just as we pulled together during a pandemic to help one another, creating vaccines and medications to fight the disease; just as people pulled together during 9/11, hurricanes, fires, and floods, we can fight the distractions that are plaguing this nation and our world to come together for the sake of democracy, equality, climate change, drought, famine, disease, and the many conditions that are threatening mankind in the world today.
To ensure our future and the future of following generations, we must focus upon the real problem of mankind to gain the true and most valuable knowledge and wisdom that can and will prepare us for the future. Minds do not change until hearts change. Once we identify the real problem creating the distractions, we can adjust our view and focus upon the tasks at hand. Instead of dealing with the symptoms of fear, we treat those affected by the disease, so that they embrace a new trend and within that trend they find unconditional and unbiased love. We must not wait and expect the enemy to stop or heal those they have poisoned. It won't happen. The adversary will not work against himself. We must step in to be the healers and also prevent the further spread of the disease.
Who do the enactors of punishment and justice, acting in the name of fear, really work for and represent? Who is their true master? They disguise themselves in an array of garments in which they have placed their faith, claiming and believing them to be able to make man holy. They disguise themselves with wooly faces to hide the image of their master. Why do I say this? It is part of their religion. Exactly. Their religion has kept them in bondage. Not the hair upon their faces, but, what it stands for has created within them an idol to worship.
We can speak the same of the rich who have made money their idol. We can speak the same of the powerful who have made power their idol. We can speak the same of the vain, who have made beauty their idol. We can speak the same of the White Supremacists who have made their skin an idol. Whatever a sinner disguises themselves in, be it expensive clothing or aromas to cover the smell of iniquity and the stench of the rotting flesh around them, it cannot fool God.
Holy men? Rich men? Powerful men? Racists? Terrorists? Where is their wisdom? Where is their understanding of the Kingdom of God? Where is their love for their brother and mankind? Where is their faith in God? To have faith in God is to know that He can do all things, for all, choosing whom He wishes to bless. To have faith in God is to know that He has hope for all men that He does not want anyone to perish. Then, where is their faith? It is within themselves, moved by their pride in themselves and their own abilities. -Moved by their hunger for power, their condemnation for others, their feelings of entitlement, their selfishness, and their thirst for blood.
Yes, pride has driven some insane with the thirst for blood and vengeance. Pride has puffed up their chest and left them unable to exhale and breathe. They suffocate within their own pride and walk as the dead in ignorance of being void of life. They have expired and time is waiting to carry them to their grave.
Is it a mystery to love God? Is it too difficult a task for the blind and those in bondage? Why do the blind and enslaved want to lead others into darkness? They love the heavy chains that bind them. They love the heavy yokes around their necks and the burdens upon their backs. Their pride causes them to mistake them for reward and profit. Their pride causes them to see a mirage of paradise, instead of a lake of fire beneath their feet. -And when they discover their misery and desolation, their cold and hardened hearts want to make others feel their pain. Thus, they seek out others to join them.
How long? We ask. How long will the wicked be allowed to carry out their misdeeds and cause fear and suffering throughout the lands? Are there no just laws to protect us from the dangerous and unjust laws they have enacted? Is there no ally to help us defeat them?
There is One who came to fulfill all the law and the prophecy of the prophets. Jesus, Yeshua, the Son of God, became the expositor, or, explanation of all law and prophecies, past, present, and future. His existence covers all law and prophecy, in that he became the answer to enable man's obedience to God's Commandments and Laws, and in doing so, fulfilled all prophecy.
How can others come to understand what a great miracle and gift this is from God? They must believe on His name. Oh, just believe in the name Jesus? No. Jesus has a greater name which describes who and what He is---THE WORD OF GOD. God's WORD is what we must believe in and obey to show that we love God and believe that Jesus is His Son. Somehow, those who Believe seem to have trouble with this concept. We all want to go around it and just praise the name of Jesus, without realizing, or, wanting to understand that Jesus is much more than a man or a name. We'd like to avoid living The Truth, The Way, and The Life and just skip to praising the name of Jesus and saying that we believe in Jesus as the Son of God. We'd like to stick to our interpretation of scripture, like so many religious terrorists groups that just practice religion without living the Word of God. We'd like to continue living under the law and legalism, practicing religious traditions and manmade doctrine, contradicting the Word of God that says that Jesus, The Word, fulfilled all the law and the prophets. We want people to believe that because we are law abiding citizens that we are better than those who have been trapped within the system of systematic bondage and lifetime penalties and persecution.
What should our expectations be for those who have not accepted Jesus as The Word and The Son of God? Can we expect them to rule justly in holiness and righteousness? Are they capable of doing so? Can we trust them to create an egalitarian society with liberty and justice for all? Can we trust them to deal fairly and justly with the international community? Can we trust them to be an ally to anyone but themselves?
Will their regime ever be stable? Is it even feasibly possible to achieve stability in such a government void of understanding and love for mankind? Wars and rumors of wars, whispered around the tables of those clinging to the world. Yet, there is no stability, because of their pride and the wagging of their tongues. There is no stability because of their discontent and hatred for their brothers and sisters. There is no stability because they lack faith in God.
Matthew 24:6-8 King James Version
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Driving up to Priest's mansion, Hal was deep in thought, trying to remember when the beginning of sorrows actually began. Was it when he had agreed to accept the job offered to him by Miriam and Tanya, or, had his sorrows actually begun when President Graves raped his great grandmother? Did it go much deeper than that? Was the Graves Family cursed long before they arrived in America? Did his ancestors who were brought over in slave ships bring sorrows with them and also take on the sorrows of their masters?
Hal, kept looking for a beginning, but, was the beginning the most important part of the story? If it was, then, the future was hopeless. If today had proved anything, he thought, it was that the future isn't always what we plan for it to be. Then, that meant, there is hope and at least a fifty/fifty chance at some point that things might get better. -But, that's taking a gamble and perhaps, it's time to place one's faith in something more predictable and trustworthy. Perhaps, it was time to have faith in an unchanging God, who keeps His promises.
Then, it wasn't the beginning that was most important. It was now, the here and now. What he did here and now, from now on counted most in God's eyes. He had put his trust in himself, his pride, and the hatred and anger within his heart. That had almost led him to being a murderer. Was it Priest and his men who had saved him from that title, or, was it God intervening in some way? Grampa Siegfried would most assuredly say that it was God saving him. -But, why? Why would God want to save him from such a fate? He was certainly guilty of wanting to kill Derek Graves and ready to do so.
Wendell, he remembered. Wendell had also been spared. Wendell was there to kill Derek and he knew it. They both felt that they had reason to pump a cartridge of bullets into Derek's heart. He glanced over at Wendell. He seemed to look as relieved as he did. Leaning back in the luxurious cushioned seats of the limousine, Wendell was as relaxed as he'd ever seen him, especially around him. When they first met, Wendell seemed ready to pounce upon him instantly at the first available opportunity. Now, they were partners in crime, sharing a common enemy. They had certainly broken enough laws together in the past couple of days to make them cell buddies in prison.
Hal wanted to believe that they could be friends one day. However, if Zenobia died, could Wendell ever forgive him? Would he become the next casualty in this saga of endless sorrows?
Thinking about what he and Wendell had done to survive these past few days made Hal feel ashamed and dirty. If he felt that he was above the law, he was no better than Derek. By getting the Russians involved with his problems, he was just as guilty and responsible, as them, for the deaths that had occurred. It was just as if he had pulled the triggers himself.
Wendell had done his share of killing, also. When. he pondered, would the sorrows end?

RELATED SCRIPTURE
Matthew 10
10 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
12 And when ye come into an house, salute it.
13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.
42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
